Doctor is true philanthropist
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Our loved ones received expert medical care while the same time were treated with compassion, allowing them to keep their dignity. Dr. Chirantan Ghosh's professional commitment to his patients was very evident. We felt besides treating the patient, he treated the whole family. This left an indelible impression upon us.
Years have passed, we now find ourselves Dr. Ghosh's patients. My sister for a rare cancer, myself a blood disorder. It was a shock and heart wrenching for us to learn Dr. Ghosh will no longer be with PCI. We're praying he will practice in Cedar Rapids, or close by.
Dr. Ghosh is a true philanthropist and an outstanding member of the Cedar Rapids community. It would be a travesty to lose such a humanitarian.
We thank Dr. Ghosh and wish him success in future endeavors. He's been both friend and doctor to us. With great sorrow we're realizing we may have to accept medical changes in our lives. Life is about changes. With Dr. Ghosh and God's help, we meet them head on.
