We hear the words “The land of the free” and “the home of the brave" every time someone sings our national anthem. But, are we really listening?
We are free to do most anything we want that isn't against the laws of the land. However, we wouldn't have that freedom if it wasn't for the generosity of spirit of those brave people who dedicated their lives to “the home of the brave.”
Today, Memorial Day, has been set aside to honor those brave souls who have given us our freedom. The veterans, with their brave, generous spirit, fought to assure that we the people could maintain our lives in the only country in the world that is truly “the land of the free” and “the home of the brave.”
God bless our veterans!
