Somebody wrote a column about the Iowa-Nebraska football rivalry in the Omaha World-Herald
Mike Hlas Jun. 20, 2011 5:54 pm
That someone is me.
The Omaha World-Herald has Big Ten fever. It is in the middle of an 11-part series of "introducing" Big Ten schools to Nebraska fans. It commissioned writers who cover those 11 schools to write guest columns. Monday's was Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune on Northwestern.
Sunday was me. On Iowa. Not the "On Iowa" that is Marc Morehouse's Hawkeyes blog.
I'd reprint my Iowa column here, but it's the property of the World-Herald. Click here to read it. Some people have had problems with this link. I'm not sure why. It may be a mobile thing. If you are among those who can't get it and want to see it, send me an email at mike.hlas@sourcemedia.net and I'll get you the text on Tuesday.
If you want Hlog material on Iowa-Nebraska, here's a piece I wrote in early May that seemed to agitate every Cornhuskers fan on earth.
