Tim Pawlenty was in third place in statistical tie with Herman Cain at just below 9 percent, while Texas Congressman Ron Paul got 6 percent, Newt Gingrich had 4 percent and Rick Santorum, one of the most frequent campaigners in Northwest Iowa, polled at 2 percent.
