C.R. speed traps don’t provide warm welcome

Several weeks ago I made my first trip to Cedar Rapids. On July 13, I received in the mail a speeding ticket issued through the Automated Speed Enforcement Program at a location near the airport.
I do not condone speeding, and for this I am at fault. I do, however, believe having a speed trap near the airport does not provide a warm welcome for visitors to your city. Instead of fond memories spending dollars in your city, I will associate Cedar Rapids with a speeding ticket received within the first hour of arrival.
