One more big hoops tourney for Linn-Mar's Paige

This tournament on top of a major tournament this weekend in Florida and an international event in early August in Portland, Ore., for Linn-Mar point guard Marcus Paige.

He, of course, has committed to North Carolina.

Linn-Mar's Marcus Paige has been selected by ESPN RISE to play in the 2011 Boost Mobile Elite 24. The event features 24 of the nation's top high school basketball players competing in Los Angeles on August 26-27 at Venice Beach.

The 2011 Boost Mobile Elite 24 (Saturday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. ET) and the Under Armour Slam Dunk Contest (Friday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m.) will both air live on ESPNU. 

The Boost Mobile Elite 24 is the nation's leading elite high school boys' basketball event for underclassmen. Players are chosen based on their performance at AAU tournaments and national championships and are scouted by high school basketball experts from ESPN RISE, ESPN College Basketball Recruiting and other top talent evaluators.
