Community College representatives from around the world will come to Cedar Rapids to discuss bringing globalization of education to the local level. Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) members representing the United States, Denmark, Canada, Yemen and Qatar will be available to speak to the media on a variety of topics at CCID's Summer Institute held this coming Saturday, Sunday and Monday at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center (7725 Kirkwood Boulevard SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
The mission of CCID is to provide opportunities for building global relationships that strengthen educational programs, and promote economic development. The activities and programs are broad, deep and focused on global education issues as they relate primarily to two year colleges and the equivalent outside the United States.
