Where the Water Went bus tour set Aug. 13

Learn about the history of Cedar Rapids and where the waters went in 2008 during a guided bus tour presented by the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library (NCSML) on Saturday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m.
The program begins with a tour of the exhibition, Rising Above: The Story of a People and the Flood at the NCSML Kosek Building, 87 Sixteenth Ave. SW. Then Jan Stoffer and local historian Mark Stoffer Hunter lead a bus tour through the city citing specific landmarks where the water went. They will also discuss what efforts have been made towards recovery.
