In her words, Iowa's Wahlin on basketball tour, Part VI

Sunday was another busy day for the Hawkeyes. It began with our bus getting hit in Bratislava on the way to Vienna and having the mirror ripped off. It didn't slow us down too much, as we made it in time for our tour of the Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna. The palace is made up of 1,440 rooms and we toured 40 of them, which took about an hour.
We then made our way to the garden in the back of the Palace. It was the biggest and most beautiful garden I have ever seen! I am sure my mom would have loved the garden, so I took plenty of pictures to show her!
After the tour we made our way to Vienna's amusement park called Prater. First, we rode one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. There were a ton of signatures and drawings in the enclosed cars written by passengers, so I had to add a little Iowa women's basketball note.
The team then took off for the twisting, spinning and flying rides. Kathryn Reynolds and I then became the purse holders while the others got their adrenaline rush for the day.
Tomorrow is Jaime Printy's birthday, so we are all going out as a team tonight to eat for her birthday a day early!
Thanks for reading the blogs and hope all is well back home!
