Wall frame lands on construction worker

A wall fell inside a Toledo construction business Thursday morning, sending one man to the hospital.

The accident happened at a business called Amwood Homes. Police Chief Jeff Harnish said a construction crew was working on the frame of a wall for a prefabricated home inside the Amwood facility around 6:30 a.m. Thursday when the wall fell onto the man.

Other members of the construction crew pulled the wall off the man and called 911.

Harnish says the worker was taken to Marshalltown Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. He complained of back injuries.
