Cedar Rapids to host conference for marketing & research professionals

Marketing professionals know that success begins with research. On September 21-22, local marketing professionals will have the opportunity to join travel and tourism professionals from across the Midwest when they meet in Cedar Rapids to discuss the value and use of research in marketing, planning and development. Meet and learn from regional peers and national experts at the annual conference of the CenStates Chapter of the Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA).

The conference begins on Wednesday, September 21 at 1:00 p.m. and concludes on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at the Cedar Rapids Marriott. One day conference rates are available and receive early bird discounts through Friday, August 26.

Sessions will includes such topics as strategic planning, return on product development, how media planners utilize research, social media for tourism researchers, the new normal for hospitality and much more. The group will also hear how the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library used research to make decisions after the flood and will experience a progressive dinner in Czech Village.
