Rick Perry just a facsimile of Bush
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 24, 2011 12:25 pm
Within recent memory, we have had the shadow of eight long years of a failed presidency.
Enter from the right: a charismatic, well-funded, Christian-right Republican, and social conservative, successful governor of Texas. Any similarities? Individuals who repeat a pattern, hoping to have a different, and better, outcome are thought to have a problem. So, why in heaven's name do we look for answers in the person of Rick Perry?
Isn't he a facsimile of what we just had?
