Corporate media far from ‘liberal’
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 27, 2011 12:46 pm
Even as evidence mounts to counter the big lie that the media is liberal, too many continue to be led astray by the chatter from conservatives on how they are victimized by the “liberal” media.
Latest evidence - tale of two Michel(l)es. Both say they lost some faith in America but something occurred which changed their minds.
The first is roundly lambasted by media for not loving America. There was even talk of lynching her!
The second's comment at the time of this writing has only been on one MSNBC show to the best of my knowledge, so consequently the masses are either not made aware or better yet, not propagandized to have negative feelings toward her.
In case you do not know, the first Michel(l)e is Obama and the second is Bachmann.
Again, both state literally the same thing, but aside from an African-American professor who guest-hosted an MSNBC show who brought this to my attention, no one else - not even the so-called “far” left - has reported/exploited this.
I have long believed that as much as we try to overcome, race still matters in America. Additionally, conservatives are allowed more leeway when speaking about America as evidenced by comments made by John McCain that he did not really love America until he became a POW - this was reported when Obama made her comments but he was given a pass as he had been when comments were first made.
Corporate media rules!
