Kernels hosting kids Home Run Derby

This isn't exactly high-school related, but close.
The Cedar Rapids Kernels are hosting a Home Run Derby for kids 12 and under Sept. 18 at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Perfect Game USA is a partner in the event, which is for boys and girls.
Kids 6 and under will have their contest at noon, those 8 and under at 12:30 p.m., 10 and under at 1 and 12 and under at 1:30. The event is free, with all participants receiving a free T-shirt and being eligible to win prizes.
Registration forms can be picked up at the souvenir store at Memorial Stadium or across the street at Perfect Game.
