Hey Dems, Tea Party represents ‘the people’

I find it amusing that the Democrat Party is so up in arms against the Tea Party. The Democrats are supposed to be for “the people,” but when there is a grass-roots movement involving people who doesn't agree with their liberal agenda, all hell breaks loose. Maxine Waters recently told the Tea Party to “go straight to hell” and that she would like to help.
In The Gazette's Aug. 14 edition, Leonard Pitts Jr. rejoiced because the Tea Party is supposedly in decline. He ranted that only one in three Americans supported the Tea Party, and was pleased that the country so far hasn't lost its collective mind.
I quote: “As the world grows larger and more fiendishly complex, there is, make no mistake, something seductive about loud voices and simplistic answers.” (See the Waters comment above!)
Pitts and his ilk make a lot of noise when all the movement wants to do is slow down the insane spending of the present ruling party. After all, the Tea Party stands for “taxed enough already.”
