Hartlep has strong ‘kids first’ mentality
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Sep. 9, 2011 2:29 pm
Karen Hartlep has been involved as an educator for 33 years and is now running for an at-large position on the Cedar Rapids school board. She is a conscientious person who is a willing listener and a subsequent doer. She knows school and community issues, is a concerned and involved neighbor and has thoughtful and constructive ideas.
She believes the highest educational priority is “kids first.” With her many years of teaching experience and community involvement, she would be an excellent member of the school board.
