DAVENPORT - If a football team can look dazed and confused despite a win, this was it.
“I don't know,” said Cedar Rapids Washington Coach Tony Lombardi after his Warriors held off Davenport Assumption, 38-35, in a Class 4A playoff opener Friday night at Brady Street Stadium. “And I don't mean that in a funny way. I've done this long enough to know that I need to look at the film to find out what just happened. Weird game.”
