Golding’s priorities, attack ad speak volumes
The Gazette Opinion Staff

The first time I saw a short Cindy Golding commercial, she was trotting out the two Republican favorites - fewer taxes and fewer regulations. In case you don't know, when Republicans say this, they mean fewer taxes for businesses and rich people and fewer of the regulations that keep industries from polluting our air and water.
Next ad I see from her is an attack ad on Liz Mathis. Within a week of that ad's release, Golding told an interviewer that she had been attacked first and that she didn't have control over ads. To this day, I have not seen any attacks on her by Mathis.
Mathis is the person who will work for all Iowans in the Senate.
