Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. today in Linn County, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in most other Eastern Iowa cities. (Check with your county auditor.)
Cedar Rapids voters are choosing among 10 candidates for three open seats on the City Council - District 2, District 4 and an at-large seat.
Senate 18 voters will help decide the balance of power in the Iowa Legislature in a special state election for the seat vacated by Swati Dandekar.
