United Way tops goal for internal campaign

Like many area companies United Way of East Central Iowa also runs an annual campaign that allows employees to give through payroll deduction.
This year's internal campaign kicked off on Oct. 31, 2011, and 25 employees were trying to raise $24,000. When it was all done, the team raised $26,114.65. Everyone participated!
"We are excited that everyone gave and that we topped our goal," said Kris Riley, United Way's CFO. "As you can see we all are committed to our mission."
