Doctor’s thoughtfulness a wonderful example

There are people who stand above the rest. Their compassion, empathy, caring and love are so obvious you'd like to shout “thank you!”
Being a widow is often hard. People do not want to hear about your problems. God knew poor health would be a part of life, so he gave us doctors. When my lifetime doctor Donald Bomkamp retired, I worried if I'd ever find another one with all his experience and kindness. Never did I imagine I would end up with Jessica Quinn, physician assistant.
Lately, I have had some serious health problems, so I have seen her more often. Imagine my surprise when I looked out my front door and saw her with a gift. Unheard of. She dropped in to see how I was doing. Just seeing her made me feel so much better. I know she has a busy life. Her husband is a doctor and she has two children. Yet she still found the time to see if I was doing better. All the pills in the world can't compare to a friendly, caring visit to a lonely, sick, old lady. She is one beautiful lady that I have the privilege to call my doctor and my friend.
