Congress should lead by example on health care

We keep hearing from members of Congress how they have to cut back on aid to education and Medicare. If the cost of health care is that much of a concern, then the first place they should start would be to begin paying for their own health insurance premium and health care.
All their health care is free, thanks to the taxpayers. As I understand it, they are riding in the lap of health care luxury not only while in Congress but after they leave Congress as well.
When you add this to a very nice pension, it doesn't seem it would be that difficult for them to recognize they could help cut back on spending if they would stop taking care of themselves so much. This would help the education fund, Medicare and paying down the national debt.
