Cain, Penn State show sad state of society

Recently, I was angry at the media because I couldn't turn on the radio or television or glance at a newspaper without finding out ad nauseam about the status of Herman Cain's alleged sexual misconduct.
The failure of the media to give like analysis to his flat-tax ideas put me into a depression about the decline of our society because I concede the media often gives the public what they want.
Imagine how I felt when I saw the Nov. 6 Gazette Page 1 lead story to be about some assistant (former) coach in Pennsylvania. Who made the decision to feature this story?
