Government squanders on Honey Creek project

Once again, government squandered revenues on an extravagant, unnecessary project, Honey Creek Resort on Rathbun Lake (Gazette, Nov. 22).

Government does not pay property tax or income tax as citizens do and still loses money - $1.5 million after an investment of $58 million.

It is too easy to spend by state agencies.
