Voters want ideas, not dirt on other candidates

When will the people running for office realize that voters want to hear what they intend to do and how they are going to do it. We don't want the politicians spending time digging up dirt on their opponents. Enough of that is being done in Washington. Just give us the facts about yourself.
To my knowledge, Liz Mathis never ran any negative ads about Cindy Golding (Iowa Senate District 18 race).
Cindy, however, ran some about Liz saying she was undecided on several issues, which was false. Maybe people voted for the person who ran the most honest campaign.
