We all have the right to believe

As the holiday season draws near, we are once again being inundated with complaints from those pathetic souls who seem to have nothing better to do than be offended by words such as “Merry Christmas,” “Christmas tree” or anything that even hints of religion.
I'm not a religious fanatic, but I believe in live and let live. We all have the right to believe or not believe and the right to voice our opinion. However, no one has the right to expect the other to bow to his or her demands.
To the complainers, I say “get a life,” and if I should somewhere along the way wish you a “Merry Christmas” or my Christmas decorations offend you, I offer this: If you'll forgive me for offending you, I'll forgive you for idiotic complaints.
