Obama should be a one-term president
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 11, 2011 8:06 am
Instead of leading and working with the Super Committee on a debt agreement, President Obama spent his time traveling on our tax dollars and campaigning. In his first job, Obama is absent without leave as president, his inexperience is showing. Reasons Obama should be a one-term president:
l Unemployment is way up on Obama's watch - his economic policies have failed miserably.
l Obama-led legislation will cut Medicare by $500 billion. He recommended cutting Medicare another $250 billion as the budget super committee debated.
l Obama has OK'd spending trillions of dollars - a danger to the health of the economy, but has nothing to show for it but debt to the Chinese. China is using our debt to build its military.
l Obama spends his time campaigning, not leading. Where is the “President of Red States and Blue States?” He calls the American people a mob but appreciates OWS protesters who set fires to cars, defecate in public and break the law. He meanly demonizes successful Americans and ignores economic reality.
l His foreign policy is to apologize for American contributions to the world and coddle vicious countries like Iran who are building nuclear weapons.
l Obama administration regulations are killing jobs and sending companies overseas. They killed a pipeline that would create thousands of jobs.
l Low interest rates and decreasing stock markets values have sapped 401(k)s and seniors' retirement income.
l Poverty and homelessness is on the rise under Obama.
We can do better; vote Republican in 2012.
