Let’s have honesty in government
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Dec. 14, 2011 2:07 pm
Today is the anniversary of the Bill of Rights. That was not my idea. Neither was concealed carry. If a person gets into a jam, he can call the cops on his concealed telephone. It's safer for predators that way.
I want gun controllers to emphasize that guns are bad by putting “Gun-free home” signs in their windows. To deter intruders they can put no-trespassing signs in their yards.
I want honesty in government. I want police vehicles marked “To serve and protect City Hall” and “Dial 911 and die, the police are too late 95 percent of the time.”
