Cedar Valley Christian's first postseason game won't be at home

It turns out Cedar Valley Christian won't host its first-ever postseason game.
CVC Athletics Director Stephanie Hodge said Wednesday the Iowa High School Athletic Association has decided Cedar Valley Christian's Class 1A district opener Feb. 16 against Alburnett will be played at Marion High School.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
CVC is the higher seed and won the right to host, but its gym is very small, hence the change. Cedar Valley Christian whacked Mid-Prairie on Tuesday night, 56-27, to improve its record to 10-7.
Alburnett is 6-12.
