Want to trade places with public worker?

Apparently some people are jealous of those of us with IPERS pensions. Everyone picks their own place in our economy. These people in the private sector have perks in their own jobs. Do they want to trade places with the public employees who quite often risk their lives? Police officers get shot or stabbed, prison guards and firefighters get killed or injured on the job as well. Your county and city workers risk their lives keeping the public safe in storm conditions.
I am a retired public worker who, along with many other public employees, gave up the holidays with our families so those in the private sector could stay home chewing on turkey.
