Paige leads Linn-Mar to road win over Warriors

LINN-MAR 62, CEDAR RAPIDS WASHINGTON 56 -- Marcus Paige scored 20 points, dished out five assists and had five steals to lead Class 4A No. 8 Linn-Mar to a Mississippi Valley Conference road victory.
Matt Lassen, Jimmy Roth, Andy Henry and Derik Gogg added eight points apiece for the Lions (14-5, 10-4 MVC).
Sean Bredl scored 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting to lead the Warriors (0-18, 0-14 MVC).
DYERSVILLE BECKMAN 66, MARION 56 -- Nate Steger scored 16 for Beckman (15-6, 11-6 WaMaC) along with two others in double figures, Travis Gudenkauf with 14 and Todd Manternach with 15 in a win at home.
Marion's (9-11, 9-9 WaMaC) Tyler Gunderson led all scorers with 17 and Jared Huhndorf added 10.
