Girl’s act of kindness touched diner’s heart
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Two girls were sitting near me at Applebees on Feb. 3. We exchanged a few words as they were getting their coats on to leave. Later, when I asked for my bill, the server said one of those girls paid my bill. This act of kindness made my week.
I had a gift card from Christmas or I would not have been there, as I am on a tight budget as a senior citizen. Now I'll be able to go back one more time because of their kindness.
God bless them and I'll try to do something extra kind to pay it forward.
