Loebsack is supposed to working for us

An open letter to Hon. Dave Loebsack:
Dear employee of the citizens of Iowa's Second Congressional District,
I'm puzzled by your email reply, received Feb. 10, to my December email. I inquired then whether you and your fellow employees could see fit to get to work, do your job and pass a budget, instead of jetting off for the holidays. I may have used the word “clowns” instead of “members.” If this created confusion, that's on me.
Your reply details instead your position on pay and benefits for Congress - not remotely what I asked about. My inquiry was whether you could undertake the job for which you were elected. Your reply shifts the topic to a self-promotion on your efforts to determine how much you take from the taxpayers. Again, I'll grant the possibility of confusion - maybe you feel that mirrors the goals of much of your constituency.
But I don't think so. We hard working citizens want to fix this economy, but we elected you to at least give us a little help. Dave, please go find that big red “restart” button, give it a whack and listen to your constituents. In this case you failed to even acknowledge the subject matter. Honestly, you're supposed to be working for us.
