Nearly 100 years after the first batch of Templeton Rye was cooked up in a barn in the small central Iowa town of Templeton, the prohibition era whiskey is still highly sought after. Indeed, the “good stuff” - now legally made, aged and bottled in its namesake Templeton - has a storied past.
