End abortion, hormone services for illegals

It has come to light that federal agency I.C.E. (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has been providing some abortion services for illegals in their custody and not just for the health of the mother. They have also been providing hormone treatment for people who have elected to seek a gender change. All this with taxpayer dollars. Thanks to Congress, the agency heads have a wide latitude to write the rules and do lots of things we never heard about.
Every now and then, something sneaks out into the light of day, as did this particular item. It's not too likely that the top dogs at I.C.E. would engage in this particular practice without guidance and approval from on high. Remember, at the same time that abortion and hormone therapy are being provided for illegals in custody, services and care at V.A. hospitals are being reduced.
How many examples of this president's arrogance and his contempt for Congress, as well as his contempt for all of us, before Congress uses its “power of the purse” to stop him? Sometimes doing the right thing takes courage; is there any of that left in the House and Senate?
