Tree plantings improve Beverly Park in C.R.

On behalf of the Linn Area Mountain Bike Association, I want to thank all those who helped plant 500 native tree seedlings in Beverly Park in Cedar Rapids. I especially want to recognize the students from Kirkwood Community College's outdoor management program and their teacher, Jerry Reisinger.
The new trees helped restore two oak savannas and control water runoff.
