President wrong to pass blame on economy

The current occupant of the White House likes to state that he didn't know how bad the recession was until he arrived in office. This is the same person who promised unemployment not going above 8 percent after getting his stimulus (which was really just a union and special interests payoff) pushed through. And lest we forget, he spent the first two years of his term almost solely ramming through a health care bill the majority of people did not want and which is likely to be shot down by the U.S. Supreme Court in June. So, it was a bad recession and what did he spend his time on his first two years of office? It was not on the economy and jobs.
Let us also never forget the Democrats controlled Congress for the last two years of Bush's last term, and for the first two years of the current occupant's term the Democrats had filibuster-proof majorities. And what did they go for?
Now he wants to pass blame on jobs and the economy like a little child and says he and other Democrats didn't know how bad it really was. Did it take them until 2011 to figure it out? Is this what you want for four more years?
