Give Penford the respect they deserve

Cedar Rapids City Council, try to get it together. So far you have been doing a terrible job at running this city and now you are trying to put the cherry on the cake.

If I were Penford, I would tell you to take the offer (to buy Riverside Park for possible future company expansion and build a new park) and sit on it. You're trying to bleed Penford, which has been here for ages. They might completely pull out of the city altogether and go somewhere that will appreciate them and the business they bring to a community.

I've lived in this city my entire long life and I swear to God that we now have the worst City Council we have ever had.

All you think about is spending and tearing down and building new on everything.

Penford has made you an honest offer, now give them (Penford) the respect they should be getting.
