Neighbors showed compassion, concern

My neighbors performed a random act of kindness and saved my life. Recently, I fell and knocked the phone off the hook. The pain in my hip was awful. I sat on the floor for four days. My perceptive next-door neighbors, Pardon and Mariann Keith, noticed my newspapers and mail piling up. Pardon yelled in the door to ascertain my problem. They called the ambulance.
I was told at Mercy Medical Center that my body was shutting down and I was on death's door. I was dehydrated and my potassium and electrolytes were too low and my kidneys were shutting down. The hip was swollen up like a muskmelon. But my prayers were answered because my hip was not broken. The huge bruises were very painful.
I love the song, “My God is an awesome God.” God sent me two guardian angels who refused to look the other way. Their compassion and concern are what has allowed me to write this letter.
