Obama deserves credit for killing bin Laden

People are “appalled” that President Obama is using the killing of bin Laden as political symbolism.
Well, suck it up, that's just too bad. When in the last 30 years have the Republicans not tried to make it look like Democrats are soft on defense? Following that logic, if Obama had not taken the chance to get bin Laden, he would have been labeled the same way. But instead of giving even a little credit to the president for his actions, they say he shouldn't politicize it. Give me a break! Republicans would take the killing of bin Laden and run with it until November without question.
Republicans are great on message and they stick with that message until it's well branded. Then give some credit where credit is due. The man who masterminded 9/11 is gone. He's gone because our president had the guts to react. He campaigned on it and I would hope he run partially on this accomplishment.
So I say, brag away, Mr. President. They won't give an inch, so take as many as you need.
