Gustafson leads area 4A girls

DES MOINES -- Thursday was a quiet day for area Class 4A girls at the state track meet.
Aliyah Gustafson of Iowa City High was the highest area finisher. Gustafson was third in the discus, with an effort of 130 feet, 8 inches.
Waukee is the team leader with five events, with 28 points. West Des Moines Dowling is second, with 23.5 points, followed by Bettendorf (21).
Leslie Harder of Cedar Rapids Prairie was the best Metro finisher. She was fourth in the high jump, clearing 5 feet, 2 inches.
