CEDAR RAPIDS - A 22-year-old man accused of shooting another man outside a strip club last month will stand trial Nov. 26 in Linn County District Court.
Dominique Fisher of Cedar Rapids entered a written plea of not guilty to first-degree murder Thursday. He is accused of fatally shooting Raphael C. Blackwell Jr., who was unarmed, in the parking lot of Woody's Show Club on April 16.
According to a criminal complaint, Fisher confronted Blackwell in the parking lot, pulled out a handgun and shot the victim as he was walking away.
