Downtown CR is true face of our city

Dave Draheim writes another boohoo letter (“Downtown shouldn't be C.R.'s top priority,” June 7) condemning city leaders for emphasizing downtown development in Cedar Rapids.
What you write about is history, Dave. Downtown Cedar Rapids is the true face of our city. Our city council and other leaders have chosen the right path to the future for all of us.
