Iowa City Jazz Festival will feature drummer Matt Wilson, Mumbo Jumbo band

Matt Wilson, one of the hottest drummers on the jazz scene today, will be following the beat of a different drummer Sunday night at the Iowa City Jazz Festival.
Wilson and his Mumbo Jumbo bandmates will close out the three-day festival with a tribute to legendary jazz drummer, bandleader and composer Paul Motian, who died Nov. 22, 2011, at age 80. Wilson has played in about five previous Iowa City Jazz festivals, and Motian played there 10 years ago.
