Horizons is grateful to the Zins team for its community support in celebration of Zins' third anniversary of reopening after the 2008 flood.
Zins provides Cedar Rapids with a dining experience that is unique and unparalleled. Our city is lucky to host such a fine establishment. We are humbled by Zins' choice of the Horizons Endowed Fund, administered by The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation, as the beneficiary of their anniversary celebration donations.
Horizons has been serving Cedar Rapids for more than 50 years, providing essential services for our neighbors, friends and families. Like Zins, we continue to strive to be the best.
People going through hard times depend on Horizons. Like every other non-profit these days, Horizons is facing greater challenges. Despite federal, state and county funding cuts, delivering affordable counseling services and senior meals continue to be ever-growing needs. This is why volunteers and donations are vital elements to our success; they help ensure the most vulnerable among us receive the services they need to remain healthy.
On behalf of the talented and hardworking staff at Horizons, I thank Zins, and their anniversary-week patrons, for their dedication to this great community.
