State, federal money all from our pockets

The July 10 Gazette editorial, “Medicaid deal could be good for Iowa,” suggests expanding Medicaid eligibility could save Iowans $50 million per year. Whether the money comes from the feds or the state, it still comes out of my pocket. Federal money is not free.
And I trust Gov. Terry Branstad more than a federal promise. No matter how transparent.
