Gazette buried news of Ryan’s Iowa visit

The Gazette has a left-leaning political bias and any news related to Republicans, conservatives, pro-life causes, Tea Party, etc., normally does not get favorable coverage in the newspaper.
Yes, they'll publish a token article or opinion piece for the conservative side from time to time, but there's no mistaking which way the newspaper leans. Well, The Gazette has taken this to a whole new level.
Paul Ryan, GOP vice presidential nominee, visited Cedar Rapids on Tuesday, and where did The Gazette put this announcement? On the obituary page, page 8A, of Monday's Gazette, in an article titled, “Obama, Biden back to Iowa this week.”
If you were looking for information about Ryan's visit, would you read that article? At the end of the article telling us that Obama and Biden would visit Iowa on Friday after their convention, with no details, locations, or times, the article tells us that, oh, by the way, Ryan will visit Kirkwood Community College on Tuesday. Really, Gazette? Could you have buried the story any deeper?

(Editor's note: The Gazette also published an announcement story about Paul Ryan's appearance in last Sunday's edition, page 3B. And when more details of the event were provided by the Ryan campaign, an updated story was published Tuesday morning on page 2A.)
