ObamaCare seems bad for health of Medicare

I am one of 42,000 Iowans on Medicare and I would like to know just what is going to happen to us when ObamaCare takes over. It has been announced that Obama has taken $716 billion out of the Medicare 10-year budget. This is to pay to start ObamaCare for the 30 million people with no insurance and pay for other ObamaCare programs. This activity sounds bad for the health of Medicare.
Sen. Tom Harkin, on the other hand, says in his Aug. 17 Gazette article that President Obama will protect Medicare.
Republican Paul Ryan says that if he and Mitt Romney are elected, Medicare will stay the same for those now on it.
Who can you believe? Obama said nearly four years ago that if the country's economic problems were not fixed by now, he would be a one-term president. With the economy still in shambles, why is he now running for a second term? I find it hard to believe anything he says.
