I.C. library’s Bookend celebrates 14th year
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Sep. 10, 2012 1:40 pm
The volunteers of The Bookend used bookstore at the Iowa City Public Library would like to take the opportunity during our anniversary month to thank our many patrons and supporters. The store, located on the second floor of the library, sells used books, CDs and DVDs to raise funds that support library programming and expansion of library services. This September marks the Bookend's 14th year in existence and its fifth year inside the library.
As a way of thanking our loyal patrons and welcoming new customers, we will be holding a special sale and drawing for a gift certificate to mark the occasion. We would also like to encourage donations of books either directly to the store or through the annual book drive held by MidWestOne Bank this month. Whether you've been a regular customer over the years or have never visited The Bookend, please stop by and help us celebrate this month.
