GOP has blocked Obama from beginning
The Gazette Opinion Staff

As Majority Leader, Sen. Mitch McConnell said after Barack Obama was elected president “Our No. 1 goal is to make Obama a one-term president.” Not “We want to work together to help create jobs for the American people.” So, the GOP has repeatedly voted against any bill that would help create jobs or bring jobs back to America. That's the obstructionist Congress at work.
They have gathered their millionaire and billionaire friends and corporations together to donate millions of dollars to produce negative ads. Ads that, to date, do not tell us specifically how the Romney-Ryan candidates would create jobs. Only ads that attack and mislead about the existing Medicare, national health care and welfare programs in place.
They are using every tactic possible to make it difficult for many Americans to keep their right to vote. When was the last time you had to show your ID when you went to vote?
We need to re-elect the president so he can continue his programs and his goals of all of us working together as the United States of America.
